COVID-19

ORA is committed to helping agunot and all those who reach out to us during this current crisis.

YOU ARE NOT ALONE.

WE ARE IN THIS TOGETHER.

One Step Forward Helpline

Starting the divorce process and don't know what to do first? Struggling with new challenges caused by the stay-at-home orders and closures?

Our helpline continues to provide support and information to individuals throughout the world who are trying to navigate the Jewish divorce process. Stay-at-home orders and quarantines have brought with them additional challenges for those considering divorce or who are already separated and navigating the later stages of divorce.

There are many community programs and services being offered online and over the phone. We are committed to helping connect callers with the most appropriate resources and helping them feel supported and empowered to move forward.

Agunah Advocacy

ORA's dedicated team of agunah advocates are doing everything they can during the current crisis to help make the Get happen. Despite the partial or full closures of Batei Din (Jewish courts) throughout the world, our advocates are working with local rabbis and dayanim to help brainstorm on ways to help agunot and obtain the Get.

If you have questions about ORA's advocacy, please contact cases@getora.org.

For new cases, please contact our helpline at: intake@getora.org.

For current ORA cases, please contact your case advocate directly.
