Mordehay Moshe, residing in Brooklyn, NY, has been refusing to give his wife Vered Ben-Shushan a get, despite being separated since 2021.

The Vaad Harabonim of Queens issued a psak (ruling) of Mesarev L'Din against Mordehay, requiring that he "conduct himself as one under a ban of excommunication" until he grants his wife a get.
